Biography

Albino Eccher holds a research position in the Department of Diagnostic and Pathology, at the University of Verona. He is an Hospital Manager of Anatomic Pathology in the same Institution. He has received a Master’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Verona in 2002 with thesis titled “Imaging and pathological correlations in renal clear cell carcinoma”. Subsequently he was resident in Anatomic Pathology in University Hospital of Verona from 2003 to 2007 and he finally obtained the diploma with thesis titled “9p is an independent prognostic factor in patients with clear cell renal cell carcinoma”. From 2008 to 2011 he was Ph.D. student in the research doctorate in Human Oncological Pathology at University of Verona and in 2011 he discussed the thesis titled “Immunophenotypical characterization of lung adenocarcinomas: molecular and clinical correlations”. His expertise comprises Transplantation Pathology, Digital Pathology, Neuropathology and Citopathology. He had 23 scientific publication with 281 citations and an H index of 8.
