Organic chemistry has marked a good importance in the field of research in modern era. With the recent rapid development and change in technologies, the chemical industry frequently produces new materials that can pose a threat to public health and the environment if improperly handled. Approximately 46,000 chemicals have been registered. However, a significantly higher number of chemicals have been produced and used, with some produced in significant amounts. The chemicals have brought considerable convenience but can also have drastic effects to the environment and human health. Thus, the management of chemical hazards has become increasingly important. Screening, ranking, and scoring systems are key technologies to the determination of hazardous chemicals. The open access journal of Organic chemistry undergoes a peer-review process for individual manuscripts submitted by respective research authors. The journal is assigned to the concerned editorial board members who evaluate manuscripts against the guidelines using the editorial manager system.
