Graduate at Biological Sciences from Faculty of Philosophy, Science and Letters of Santo Amaro Osec (1981), master's at Physical Geography from Faculty of Philosophy, Science and Human Sciences Usp (1998) and Ph.D. at Physical Geography from Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences Usp (2004). Has experience in Ecology, acting on the following subjects: palynotaxonomy, paleoclimate, paleoenvironment, quaternary palynology and palynology.

We present a temporal resolution in pollen and spore assemblages study, obtained from core sampling at a peat deposit in Serra de Botucatu, located at 900 m altitude in São Paulo State, southeastern Brazilian Plateau.
