Dr. Vanessa Genovese She is a Database development for the NASA-CASA ecosystem process model which estimates carbon and nitrogen fluxes, image analysis and processing for land cover/land use change, and development of flex web data viewers for publishing datasets as well as other GIS & remote sensing data processing and analysis for environmental research projects.

Satellite remote sensing was combined with the NASA-CASA (Carnegie Ames Stanford Approach) carbon cycle simulation model to evaluate the impact of the 2010 drought throughout China.
