Biography

I was appointed as a Lecturer in the School of Sport and Exercise Science in 2012. Prior to this I gained my PhD from Northumbria University, which was titled ‘Recovery of Muscle Function following Strength Training in Rowers’. My research interests include the acute and longitudinal effects of strength training on performance and health in both athletic and sedentary populations.
