Biography
He is currently working as a professor in the department of cardiology at Comprehensive Heart Failure Center, Germany. He Studied Medicine, from University of Saarland, Germany. He completed his doctoral Thesis from Free University Berlin. He is also the member of Board Certification Internal Medicine, Cardiology. He is a Scientific Director of Comprehensive Heart Failure Center (CHFC), University of Würzburg. The main area of research are non-invasive cardiovascular imaging; Epidemiology of ageing; Epidemiology of heart failure: biomarkers and comorbidities; Clinical studies/trials in heart failure: diagnosis, treatment, implementation of guidelines; Quality assurance in heart failure.
