Biography

Dr Soledad Ballesteros is Emeritus Professor of Psychology at the Department of Basic Psychology II, Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) where she developed and is directing a Master Degree in Gerontology and is leading the Consolidated Research Group Studies in Aging and Neurodegenerative Diseases. Her research interests focus on the cognitive neuroscience of ageing; cognitive, physical and social interventions in older adults; implicit and explicit memory processes in cognitively normal older adults and pathological ageing; cross-modal priming, and haptic and visual attentional and perceptual processing
