Biography

He is currently working as a professor in  the department of civil engineering at Indian Institute of Science,Bangalore India. He is a Chairman of  the Indian Geotechnical Society, Bangalore. His research area includes Environmental Geotechnics, Waste Management, Soil Stabilization, Ground Improvement. He published more than 250 papers in International and National Journals and conference/ seminar proceedings.He received  IGS - Industrial and Minerals and Chemicals Company Annual Prize for best paper in the year 1995 and 1996.
