Biography

Dr. Sathisha Upparahalli Venkateshaiah received Ph.D. from University of Mysore, INDIA, where he studied modulation of galectin-3 (glycoprotein) by a dietary galectin inhibitor, pectin-a polysaccharide in metastatic cancer. Later, Dr. Sathisha, joined in the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, AR as a Postdoctoral research fellow under the mentorship of Dr. Shmuel Yaccoby, where he explored the role of bone marrow microenvironment in Myeloma tumorigenesis.
