Biography

Sarah Wild is Reader in Epidemiology and Public Health, and honorary consultant in public health medicine at NHS Lothian. Sarah Wild is the Director for Epidemiology and Statistics Core, Edinburgh Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility. She received a Doctoral Degree (PhD) in epidemiology from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK, followed by a postdoctoral program in cardiovascular epidemiology at Stanford University and a secondment to the Burden of Disease team at the World Health Organization in Geneva. She is a graduated in epidemiology from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK. Her research interests lie in diabetes and cardiovascular disease. She published an article in the Journal of Glycomics & Lipidomics.
