Biography

Dr. Chen has extensive experience in intimate partner violence (IPV) training and research in health care settings. She has received funding from the National Institute of Health and foundations for studies on aspects of intimate partner violence, including screening, long-term effects, and interventions.In a recent update, the United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommends that clinicians screen women of childbearing age (14-46 years) for IPV and provide or refer women who screen positive for intervention.
