Per Wretenberg

Biography

Per Wretenberg is Head of the orthopedic research team at Department of Orthopedics Region Örebro County and Örebro University. He has supervised 12 PhD students to graduation and is at present supervisor for 14 Ph.D students. The orthopedic research area is broad from studies on cartilage repair, prosthetic infections, children’s orthopedics to back surgery. Per Wretenberg has previously been a professor at the Karolinska Institute, Departement of Orthopedics and Head of Section of Joint Recosntruction for 8 years. He was also director of graduate studies at the Department of Molecular Medicine and Surgery for 6 years
