Biography

Doug Oliver is an Associate Professor and Medical Director at the McMaster Family Practice. Doug is passionate about older adult health care and age-friendly home care services. He has developed several programs including a Long-Term Care clinical rotation for medical residents and a successful annual CME event entitled "Care of the Elderly: Perspectives for Primary Care". His clinical commitment to this patient population continues with weekly nursing home rounds and house-calls to older adults with frailty. Doug has developed and implemented an Advanced Access booking model for primary care patients.
