Niels Olsen Saraiva Câmara

Graduated in Medicine from Federal University of Ceara. He pursued his career in Nephrology at Federal University of Sao Paulo.

Biography

Niels Olsen Saraiva Camara is graduated in Medicine from Federal University of Ceara in 1991. He pursued his career in Nephrology at Federal University of Sao Paulo, where he later conclued his Master of Science and Doctorat. After that, he performed a 3-yrs post doc fellowship in Prof. Lechler"s lab at Imperial College London. In 2005, he became Professor of Immunology at Department of Immunology at University of Sao Paulo. He is currently a full professor and his lab is devoted to study the regulation of inflammation in several infecctious and autoimmune diseases.
