Prof. Walinjom Fombad Tenjericha Muna, MD is a retired Professor of Cardiology and Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences of the University of Yaoundé I, in Cameroon. He also worked as chief of Medicine and CEO at the General Hospital of Yaoundé from 1988-1996 and currently is the Coordinator of the National Center for Hypertension and Diabetes. He obtained a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Washington State University, Pullman Washington in 1969. He subsequently obtained an MD (1973) and PhD (1974) degrees from the University of Washington in Seattle.
