Biography

Dr. Morufat Oloruntoyin Balogun is a Geneticist. Norman E. Borlaug International Science and Technology Fellow for Women in Science, United States Department of Agriculture (2005). Winner, 2012 Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund of State Department on 'Countering oil spills in the Niger Delta with local plants'. She is a Consultant Tissue Culture Specialist of the ‘Yam Improvement for Income and Food Security in West Africa (YIIFSWA project) at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture.
