Biography

Dr. Monique J. Brown is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the University of South Carolina Arnold School of Public Health. She is also a Faculty Affiliate in the South Carolina SmartState Center for Healthcare Quality also in the Arnold School of Public Health. Dr. Brown does research in social and behavioral influences affecting HIV populations. Nevertheless, her research includes different stages of the life course, where she has studied adverse childhood experiences, mental health and sexual health outcomes and behaviors in adulthood, and HIV and aging.
