Catriona McLean is currently Professor and Head of the Department of Anatomical Pathology at The Alfred, as well as pathologist to the Victorian Melanoma Service.
She is Chair of the Pathology Board for Monash University, Director of the Australian Brain Bank Network, and State Neuropathologist for the State Neuromuscular service.
She works collaboratively with the Cancer Council Victoria and colleagues within The Alfred, the MHRI, Melbourne University, Sydney University, and Monash University Department of Biomedical Sciences. She is involved in many ongoing research projects into malignancies, disorders of muscle, and neurodegeneration.
