Matta Joane
Biography
Joane Matta is an assistant professor and the head of the Nutrition department at the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences at USEK. She has obtained her PhD in Nutrition from McGill University and her thesis was about the loss of muscle mass and the development of insulin resistance in elderly subjects. Her research is focused on diabetes and insulin resistance as well as metabolically healthy obesity.Research Interest
