Biography

Mark D. Newmeyer, Ed.D. is a licensed professional clinical counselor and active in the American Counseling Association, which recognized his achievements by honoring him in 2004 as an Emerging Leader. Dr. Newmeyer is a member of the Association of Specialists in Group Work (ASGW) and The American Psychological Association's Division 49, Society of Group Psychology and Group Psychotherapy. In addition to his other scholarly papers and research efforts Dr. Newmeyer is an associate professor at Regent University. When not involved with his work Mark enjoys running (5 marathons so far), reading, and spending time with his family and friends.
