Biography

Graduated in Medicine from Faculdade de Medicina USP? University of São Paulo (1964) and Ph.D. in Pathology from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1972). He was a Full Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of UNESP, Campus Botucatu. He is currently Retired Full Professor - Associate Professor - at the Department of Pathology at the Federal University of São Paulo - UNIFESP, and since March/2012, he is a Full Member of the Academy of Medicine of São Paulo and is also Vice President for South America, by International Academy of Pathology (IAP).
