Leonard V Messner
Biography
Leonard V. Messner, OD, FAAO, is the Vice President for Patient Care Services of the Illinois College of Optometry and serves as the Executive Director of the Illinois Eye Institute. His areas of practice and publications include vitreoretinal and neuro-ophthalmic disorders. Dr. Messner holds the rank of Professor at the Illinois College of Optometry. He currently serves as the chair of the Neuro-Ophthalmic Disorders Special Interest Group of the American Academy of Optometry and is the co-chair of the Chicago Concussion Coalition. He is a member of the Vision and Concussion Research Committee of the North American Neuro-ophthalmology Society.Publications
