Lathadevi Karuna Chintapenta

Biography

Lathadevi Karuna Chintapenta have a Ph.D. in Life Sciences and am currently an Assistant Professor in Microbiology at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UWRF). My research interests are studying microbial interactions and understanding how these interactions can benefit human well being and our environment. During the course of my education in Ph.D., Masters and Bachelor’s degree programs, I studied major courses in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Food and Nutrition. From 2002-2004, I worked as a Microbiologist in a Hospital, after graduating from my Master’s program.
