Biography

Dr. Konstantinos Filis received the M.D. & Ph.D. degrees from the University of Athens Medical School, Greece. He was a resident in general surgery and in vascular surgery. He served as a Visiting Fellow in vascular and endovascular surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Vascular Surgery Department, Montefiore Hospital, NY, USA. Later, he became a Postdoctoral Fellow in endovascular surgery at Stanford University, Vascular Surgery Department, Calif, USA. Presently, he serves as an Assistant Professor of vascular surgery, University of Athens Medical School, Ippokrateio Hospital, Athens, Greece. He has been awarded in five congresses for his scientific work.
