Biography

Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Amazonas (1983), Master in Tropical Medicine from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (1996) and Ph.D. in Tropical and Infectious Diseases from the State University of Amazonas (2009). He is currently a professor of medicine at FAMETRO, a physician - Manaus Municipal Health Department and a researcher at the Fundacao de medicina tropical DR. Heitor golden verira. Has experience in Medicine, focusing on Infectious and Parasitic Diseases, acting on the following subjects: Cutaneous, mucosa and visceral leishmaniasis, Chagas disease in the Amazon.
