He is a Veterinary Faculty, Departamento de Ciências Veterinárias, Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologia, HVA - Hospital Veterinário da Arrábida, Portugal. As a Faculty member, he is a recipient of many awards and grants for his valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of researches in Cold Intermittent Pneumatic Compression: Application in the Rehabilitation of Multiple Trauma Dogs and Cats or After Surgery . He is the Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Board Member of many peer reviewed journals and his area of expertise, as a Faculty member credits him with many publications in national and international journals. He is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through his authorship of many books.
