Biography

Dr.Ikeoluwapo O. Ajayi says that the University of Ibadan is a well know for academic and research prowness. The Epidemiology and Biostatistics research unit comprise a multidisciplinary team of researchers. The unit focuses on disease of public health importance especially malaria. It has carried out research projects mostly at the community level looking at causes of malaria and the prevention. In addition, the team has carried out intervention/implementation research looking at improving home management of malaria and preventive measures using trained community-based medicine distribution.
