Biography

Dr. Hemanth Kumar Kandikattu, Ph.D. is Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Section of Pulmonary Diseases at Tulane School of Medicine, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Dr. Hemath Kandikattu is working on the role of eosinophils in allergic diseases and on pancreatitis and its progression to pancreatic cancer. Dr. Hemanth graduated with Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology followed by Master of Science in Biochemistry at Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, India. He then undertook Ph.D. training at Defence Food Research Laboratory and University of Mysore, Mysore, India. Dr. Hemanth completed his PostDoctoral training in Cardiovascular Medicine from University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri, USA.
