Guilherme Sauniti Lopes completed PhD in Science in Gastroenterology at Hospital das Clínicas, Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo - SP, with residency in General Surgery (2004/2006 - HCFMUSP-SP) and Digestive System Surgery (2006/2008 - HCFMUSP - SP) and subsequent specialization in Digestive Endoscopy (2008/2010 - HCFMUSP - SP) and Endoscopic Retrograde Collabgiopancreatography (2010 - HCFMUSP - SP).
