Biography

Francesca Bravi studied in Urbino (Università degli studi "Carlo Bo") and Jena (Friedrich Schiller University). She did her doctorate in Urbino in the field of intercultural studies (German, Romance studies). Since 2006 she has been a lecturer at the Romance Studies seminar at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel and teaches Italian in the areas of language practice, literary and cultural studies. She is currently working on a habilitation at the Accademia dellʼArcadia in the 18th century. She also oversees various cultural projects (film series, translation workshops, readings, concerts).
