Biography

Florian Gebhard is a professer and his passion is for improving patient outcomes is evidenced by my work as director of the Department of Orthopedic Trauma at Ulm University Medical Center; vice-dean of the Ulm University Faculty of Medicine; and president of the AO, the premier innovator in the surgical treatment of bone fractures and disorders. With decades of experience as a clinician and educator, leading fellow surgeons in support of the AO mission of promoting excellence in patient care and outcomes in trauma and musculoskeletal disorders, he is passionate about the partnership between patients and clinicians.
