Biography

Dr. Murrell is an expert in Lean methodology and change management. She has extensive experience in Hospital and Emergency Department management and practice with over thirty-five years of experience in a variety of roles. In her career, Dr. Murrell has focused on innovative approaches to patient flow in the Emergency Department and Hospital. Using lean and change management methodology, she has helped hospitals create reproducible changes with improved metrics in ED & Hospital length of stay with improved patient satisfaction. She has also done extensive work in improving care for psychiatric patients in the emergency department.
