Biography

Dr. Deshpande NR is a Scientist in the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, Pune, India. She has done Ph.D.  in Space Science , Pune University (2010). M.Sc. in Statistics, Pune University (1983). B.Sc in Statistics, Pune University (1981). Her Reseaarch interest in Hydro-meteorological analysis Extreme rainfall analysis on different spatial and temporal scales Hydrological modelling for major river basins in India. She has Awarded by Calcutta Statistical Association by Bose- Nandi award dor best paper in the field of Applied Statistics (1999).
