Biography

Hannah Copeland, M.D., FACS, FACC, joined Lutheran Heart Physicians in May 2020 after serving on the cardiac surgery team at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. As a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon, she cares for patients who require all aspects of advanced cardiovascular procedures up to and including heart transplant. Dr. Copeland is experienced in cardiac transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and cardiac critical care medicine.

Dr. Copeland has contributed to numerous research presentations and publications on various cardiac topics.
