Ikechukwu Chidera Vincent graduated from the Department of Geology, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, he is an independent researcher. Ikechukwu does research in Petrology, Sedimentology, Stratigraphy, Palynology, Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology, Geochemistry, Geography, Biogeography and Geology. Their current project is 'The Tertiary Blessings and the Recent Neglects: A case of the Anambra Energy Resources'

The Maastrichtian - Danian age is well exposed around the Owerre-Ezukala area in the Anambra Basin of southeastern Nigeria.
