Biography

Dr. Brian Varisco is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and the Univeristy of Cincinnati. In addition to attending in the Pediatic ICU, he operates a laboratory focused on mechanisms of lung injury, repair, and regeneration and leveraging those findings to develop novel therapies to improve lung function. One of his current projects compares the nasal transcriptomce and methylome with the peripheral blood immune proteome to better characterize Pediatirc ARDS subtypes.
