Biography

Abeer Yamany is an Associate Professor at Faculty of Physical Therapy, Cairo University. She obtained PhD., MSc. and BSc. in Physical Therapy from Faculty of Physical Therapy, Cairo University, Egypt. Her research focuses on rehabilitation of the neurological and musculoskeletal disorders, electrotherapy and evidence base practice in Physical Therapy. She successfully carried out several clinical trials, surveys, and data analysis studies on musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. She is passionate about advancing knowledge on pain management for polyneuropathy in the diabetic foot, gait training for patients with Parkinsonism, and treatment of various vein disorders through the manipulation of the trigger points.
