Tadesse Fetahi

Tadesse Fetahi Konstanz University, Limnological Institute, Germany.

Biography

Tadesse Fetahi works on water quality, physico-chemical variables including algal nutrients, phyto-zooplankton species compositions, biomasses and interactions to understand the underlying factors and their significance in the food web. He is also working on modeling aquatic ecosystem using Ecopath with Ecosim (EwE) software model to understand food web structure, linkages and functioning. The ultimate goal of his research is to contribute for sustainable aquatic resource utilization.

Research Interest

Water quality assessment; chemical limnology; aquatic food webs analysis; plankton ecology; wetland conservation and management; aquatic ecosystem conservation and restoration; integrating aquaculture into the farming system.
