Biography

Sharmin Sultana, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology. Her research interests include Image Processing, Computer Vision and Deep Learning focusing on the medical imaging domain.  Dr. Sultana earned her Ph.D. in Computational Modeling and Simulation Engineering at Old Dominion University in 2017. She was a postdoctoral research fellow in Radiation and Oncoloy at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine till 2020. Dr. Sultana received her M.S and B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
