Biography

W. Randy Brooks is a Professor of Marine Biology at Florida Atlantic University. He earned his master and PhD degrees from the Florida State University. He also served as a Visiting Researcher at Duke University Marine Laboratory, North Carolina. He has reviewed journal articles for the following publications: Acta Oecologica, Animal Behavior, Behaviour, Biological Bulletin, Helgoland Marine Research, Invertebrate Biology, J. Marine Biological Association, U.K., Caribbean Journal of Science, Journal of Experimental Marine Biology and Ecology, Marine Biology, Marine Ecology Progress Series, Marine and Freshwater Behavior & Physiology, Marine and Freshwater Research, Symbiosis. He has reviewed grant proposals for both NSF and NOAA.

Research Interest

Behavioral/physiological ecology of marine organisms, Coral reef conditions,   Behavioral interactions among echinoderms and symbiotic crabs; Predator/prey interactions
