Biography

"Dr. Nermeen M. Shaffie, received her PhD in Cytology and Histology from Minia University, Egypt . Currently, she is working as Assistant Professor of Histology in Medical division, National Research Centre, Cairo, Egypt. She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Demonstrator, Assistant Lecturer and Lecturer of Cytology and Histology in Histology Department, Faculty of Medicine, Minia University, Egypt. Her research has included studying the effect of alcohol on calcium homeostasis in adult albino rat. She is serving as an expert Reviewers for journals like: - Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine - British Journal of Medicine and Medical research - Journal of Scientific research and reports She has authored 37research articles published in different local (9) and international (28) journals. She has also authored scientific books such as: Notes on histology for Medical students, in association with Ph.D. Saadia Ragab, Head of Histology department, Faculty of Medicine, Minia University and Dr. Entessar Ali Saber, Professor of Histology, Faculty of Medicine, Minia University. She is a member of scientific societies like: 1- Membership in the Egyptian Society of Cytology and Histology. 2- Membership in the Arabian Society of Medical Researches. "
