Jeffrey Swiers
Biography
Jeff is a member of the OPTA and APTA and is also a Member of the Section on Research, Orthopedics, and Sports. He was the 2014 OPTA Student of the Year and has served as the OPTA Northeast District Treasurer and the Ohio Physical Therapy Student Assembly Core Ambassador. He has a strong interest in advocating for the Physical Therapy Profession and participating in the OPTA and APTA legislation. His interests include throwing mechanics and shoulder rehabilitation, ACL injury risk reduction, clinical outcomes research, and development of clinical practice guidelines.
