Anna Chiarini

Temporary Professor Department of Neurological, Biomedical and Movement Sciences 

Biography

Dr. Anna Chiarini has 38 full papers published in Geornali Interntational  Department of Neurological, Biomedical and Movement Sciences, 10 articles or chapters in books and Proceedings of International and National Conferences, 1 national patent, 58 communications in International and National Congresses, 3 publications on educational outreach. He is the member of Human Proteome Organization (HUPO). 

Since 1997 he is directly responsible for the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and from August 2004 , jointly responsible, together with Dr. Ilaria Pierpaola Dal Pra, of the Laboratory of Basic Proteomics  and Clinic headed by the Section of Histology and Embryology DSVR . During his career he put and developed and / or implemented methods for growing human cells in vitro successfully and mammal highly differentiated and metabolically very demanding as hepatocytes , astrocytes , keratinocytes , fibroblasts , tumor cells of various types. 
From 1997 until 2005 he worked with the Burn Centre of the Division of Plastic Surgery (Head : Prof. D. Barisoni ) Ospedale Maggiore in Verona providing the need to severely burned patients :
laminae of human keratinocytes cultivated in vitro for autografts; is
xenotransplantation temporary skin .
Research Interest

Cell cultures, primary and continuous line in vitro , methods of histology, histochemistry, immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry , cell fractionation , immunoprecipitation , electrophoretic separation one- and two-dimensional isoelectrofocusing , Western immunoblotting , methods of proteomic analysis functional by MALDI -TOF , dosages of enzyme activity , assays ELISA / EIA , spectrophotometry, spectrofluorimetry , hybridizations of nucleic acids. Northern blotting and in situ type , macroarray , small interfering RNA (siRNA) image analysis. etc.
