Ann Bachman

Biography

Ann Bachman is the Director of OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA Compliance Department as well as a DoctorsManagement partner. She is also the founder and Executive Director of the AAPOL.

Ann is recognized in the industry as an authority on OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA compliance. In addition to providing training and consulting solutions to clients, Ann speaks and conducts training seminars nationwide on all areas of medical practice compliance. She has been published and quoted in numerous compliance and medical practice management journals. Ann has a unique ability to distill complex topics into practical information that healthcare offices can apply to their daily operations. She blends the perfect amount of levity into her training presentations and materials. The combination of her extensive experience in clinical testing and laboratory management with her exceptional communication skills has enabled Ann to create effective training programs that are both precise and user friendly.

Ann has taught college-level continuing education courses and is licensed as a Medical Technologist Supervisor by the state of Tennessee, Clinical Laboratory Scientist with the state of Louisiana, Medical Technologist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology, and Certified Laboratory Consultant with American Medical Technologists. She is the former president of East Tennessee Society of Clinical Laboratory Science and earned the Certified Medical Practice Manager (CMPM®) credential from DoctorsManagement.
