Al-Hikmah University

Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin-Nigeria was established in 2005 by the Abdur-Raheem Oladimeji Islamic Foundation (AROIF), Nigeria with the motto of “Learning for Wisdom and Mortality”. It commences academic activities with different undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses in Humanities, Management Science and Natural Sciences. Al-Hikmah University is the one that stands out among other Nigerian universities as a private conventional university with a well-articulated vision of quality university education of international standard to the students. The results of this was clearly seen when Fatimah Uthman, a 100 Level Economics student of Al-Hikmah University, performed brilliantly at the Quranic Competition of Five and Ten Hizbu held on May 24, 2014 at Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun State and was acknowledged as the only female who had broken a record by coming First in that Competition.
