Figure 5: Effect of NAC on the DNA cleaving activity of leinamycin using a supercoiled plasmid DNA. A supercoiled plasmid DNA (pGL3MT1) was incubated overnight at room temperature with 1 μg/mL leinamycin in presence of various concentration of NAC (0, 50, 100, and 200 nM). Agarose gel electrophoresis was used to monitor the conversion of the supercoil form to the relaxed from in greatly increased in presence of NAC.
