"C. albicans was first grown in an YPD medium and transferred to a YNB ± FBS medium. This experiment presents a model for early systemic candidiasis in which C. albicans dapts to the bloodstream. C. albicans incubated in YNB ± FBS media for 0–60 min could provide a good model to investigate the dynamics of proteome variation in the early stages of nfection. In the next step, prepared peptides derived from proteins identified from C. albicans rown in YNB ± FBS media were subjectedto LC-MS/MS measurement using a long monolithic silica capillary column (200 cm), and a lot of proteins were successfully identified.
