Multiple personality disorder is a disorder in which a person exhibit two or more distinct identities, or personality states, that are present in and alternately take control of an individual. A person also tends to possess memory. It is a complex identities or personality states each of which becomes dominant and controls behavior from time to time to the exclusion of the others.
