Dental Fear

Dental fear is the fear of dentistry and of receiving dental care. However, it has been suggested that use of the term dentalphobia should not be used for people who do not feel that their fears are excessive or unreasonable, and instead resemble individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder, caused by previous traumatic dental experiences.
