An arrhythmia is a variation in heart’s normal rate or rhythm, usually between 60 and 100 beats per minute. An atrial arrhythmia is an irregularity that occurs in one of the two upper chambers of heart i.e. left and right atrium. Around 10 to 15 percent of people older than 70 years are suffering from arrhythmias.
